There is a product you can get it is called Orange. It is thick and you can just scrape it off. No smell and no fumes and it can be left on over night if you forget it.

Paint stripper! It's a chemical gel that you paint on, wait 30 minutes then scrape off. It will get about 98% of the old paint off and you can sand the rest. It works well enough to suggest, I have used several different brands, they are all a little messy but very easy. Don't forget to buy a couple news papers before you start and have some rags ready.

Use some Kutzit remover... let it sit for a while to loosen up the layers of paint. Then use a plastic or wooden scraper to peel the old paint away. A metal scraper might scratch the metal underneath. Repeat as necessary until you get a feel for the amount of time it takes to work down through all the layers.

Go to a home depot or home improvement store and buy some stripper that comes in a gallon container , it is applied with a brush , you allow it to stay on there I think for 15 minutes then it comes off with a scraper pretty easy . you may have to use more than one application , but the stuff works good .

well, i think you need to just drop the 'easy' all together out of this deal...it's just gonna take some muscle...good luck! they have 'hot strippers' at home depot or any of the like.
