It's not trinity nor oneness...

Sadly many don't know this Truth...

GOD is a name
LORD is a name
EMMANUEL is not a name but a title (Mat 1:23)
JESUS is a title (savior) (Mat 1:21)
CHRIST is not a name but a title (1co 1:24)

The name of the Father is: GOD
The name of His Son which is His Word that he sent to earth is: LORD
and this is the CHRIST (1co 1:24) The Power of GOD and the Wisdom of GOD
that will save His people and this saving of His people is called: JESUS
and GOD prepared His Word with a body which is called" THE LAMB OF GOD which take away the sin once and forever.

The lamb of GOD means a male without blemish.

Exo 12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

The Son of GOD is not the Lamb of GOD but the Word of GOD

Mat 17:1-6 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart, 2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. 3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elijah talking with him. 4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah. 5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. 6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.

The Word of GOD and the Holy Spirit is the same...

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. (Joh 14:17, Joh 15:26, Joh 16:13)

The Word of GOD is Truth. (Joh 17:17)

By the way JESUS is neither GOD nor man...

GOD: Because he is own of GOD.
MAN: Because he redeem his people .

WHAT IS JESUS CHRIST

Jesus: Project name of GOD.

(Mat 1:21) And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Emmanuel : Name of what GOD did

(Mat 1:23) Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

JESUS IS CHRIST

What Christ mean is…
(1Co 1:24) But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

(Luk 2:11) For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.

LORD:

(Isa 42:8) I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

(Psa 100:3) Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

jesus, the holy ghost and god are all the same entity .... if and only if you are speaking about the Trinity. Trinity is a concept that, believe it or not, predates Christianity.

in generic terminology... god is the all knowing all seeing all powerful entity. Some might recognize it as a physical manifestation of a specific description, others might understand "god" as the collection of ethereal thought, but regardless of how you individually see god....in Christianity, God is considered the Creator, the Father, the disciplinarian.

jesus is the embodiment of the god. Some might recognize the it as the physical description of a human person, a demigod, an avatar, a human priest venerating their god. Regardless of how you interpret Jesus... in Christianity, Jesus is considered the Balancer, the Son, the savior/messiah/christ.

the holy ghost is the spirit of jesus who was the avatar of the god. Some might recognize it as a physical entity with ghostlike qualities, a revenant, a messenger. Regardless of how you interpret the Holy Ghost... In Christianity, it is the Completer, the Amazer, the continuer.

Intresting of note, is the Holy Ghost is no longer proper terminology in the Catholic Church--that has changed terms to Holy Spirit as ghost conotates a restless undead.

The Trinity is the male version of the Triple Goddess in myth and pagan practices (Maiden, Mother, Crone) the three aspects of wisdom...innocence, maintianing, and wise. (or more aptly, future/maiden, present/mother, past/crone) Also the Hindu religion has Brahma (Creator), Vishnu (Balancer), Shiva (Destroyer)....and about 12 avatar versions of each aspect. The Norse (or in todays modern word, Astartu) have the Norns, Pantheistic Greeks/Romans had the Fates, Even Shakespear had the Three Witches.

Not really:
God is the mind
Jesus is the body
The Holy Ghost is the spirit or soul

You put them together and you get the trinity, trinity still means three. God is the mind & therefore the creater, Jesus is the one who knows what it is like to be human, The Holy Ghost is with-in [ the spirit or soul] the thing that tells us what is right or wrong, and helps us to achieve our potential as humans.

That's what I was taught, but I think different religions interpret it in different ways.

God is an invisible Spirit, Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God (God manifest in flesh), and the Holy Ghost is the "active force" of God (for lack of a better term).
The Father and Holy Ghost are not "persons". That is an unscriptural idea.
The "trinity is also an unscriptural doctrine. It is not in the Bible, neither is any reference to God as "persons.
This was a teaching that developed after the apostles had all passed away, and was not initially accepted by christians in general until it was made an "official" teaching in the 4th century.

No, actually thats modalism ( the belief all are one). It is true that it is called the Trinity but if you study it closly, orthodox Christianity never stated that all 3 are 1(that Jesus is all three;kinda like a "3headed monster). That is the single-most difficult doctrine of the Christian faith but it is also the most beutiful. To put it more simply, The Son is God, The Holy Spirit is God and The Father is God but the Son is not the spirit and the spirit is not the son, nor is the father the son or vice versa. If you separate them such as some faiths(who assert belief in the Trinity but as SEPARATE enities--thats Polytheism) But To the Judeo-Christian belief of Monotheism(one God) it stands. Another example is water, Water can be Solid, Liquid, and Gas. 3 different substances but yet One. The guy above me but it best. Not 3 "persons" but same substanceHope this helps....

The interesting thing is your use of the word "person". Perhaps that is part of the confusion. It is hard to think of the Creator of the Universe as a "person". Yet we call him God the Father.

Even harder is the thought that the Holy Spirit could be a "person".

Jesus was certainly a "person". But he spoke of God almost as a separate entity. He was, for example, to sit at the right hand of the Father. But at the same time he said, "Who has seen me has seen the Father".

Just one of those mysteries we Christians accept as proof of our ignorance of infinity, eternity, and the Allmighty. Sometimes I'm not even sure I know what Einstein was talking about. Why should I think I can know the unknowable?.

In the gospel of John it says that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. The Word in the book of Genesis is what God used in creation, His power. Since the Word is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, this makes Jesus Christ God also. We won't fully understand this until we are with Them. But the Bible is full from Old to New Testament of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. All one God.

the Holy Spirit is Jesus and the Holy Spirit is God too. God the Father and God the Son are One in Spirit

Yes. Think of 1 bottle of water in a room with no other water. It can be opened up. Some can evaporate into water vapor in the air. Some can be water in the bottle. Some can be taken out and frozen into ice. But the substance of these 3 forms of water is the same, and it is still one bottle of water. Jesus is God in the form of the Son. The Father is another form of the same God. So is the Holy Spirit.

No, they are separate beings. God the Father and Jesus Christ have their own physical bodies-flesh and bone and perfect. The Holy Ghost has only a spirit body. They are one in that they work together as the ultimate team.

No, there are three persons, but one God.

The Father is God, Jesus is God, the Holy Spirit is God.
The Father is not Jesus, Jesus is not the Father, the Holy Spirit is not Jesus.

The Hebrew word for God in the plural is Elohim, which what is God is referred to in the Bible. But the Father or Son are also referred to by their own individual names, Yahweh and Yehoshua
