i have one of those blue pool that you blow up the ring and then put the water on and it goes up. Well i was told that even tho you put sand under the pool and then put a tarp over the sand that grass will still grown thrrough my liner

It's pretty unlikely but I'm really not too familiar with those kinds of pools. I was thinking your actual pool so my initial reaction was "No way!" but I'm not too sure. Before you go in just leave it out in your yard in a chady spot or something and see if the grass grows through. That should answer your question even if it does take days to play out.

Eventually that will happen. You have a couple of options. Best to take it down each year. Since it's a blowup pool I suspect that's best.

If you need to keep the base there all the time. spray some roundup on the ground, then put sand over that then a tarp. You still might want to clean it up every few years.

no that is not true because the pool its self kills all of the grass underneath it so no grass could grow in the liner. i have the same pool

technically talking a ten foot deep pool will purely purely exert 4.3 lbs of rigidity and a 2 ft deep pool below a pound of rigidity. rigidity is felt on the instant up and down from gravity and water height. 27.7 inches water height = a million psi rigidity.

I CAN TELL YOU THIS.I HAVE HAD A POOL FOR 8 YEARS, AND JUST THIS YEAR HAD TO REPLACE THE LINER AND FOAM UNDER THE LINER. I HAQVE THE SAND AS WELL.I SAW NOTHING THAT RESEMBLED ANYTHING BUT SAND UNDERNEATH. I THINK YOUR SAFE.
