.....however, I don't want to be miserable. My parents really don't seem that happy, and I've had sooo many friends and acquaintences who were unhappy for a myriad of reasons (ie. bitching, power struggles, weight issues, and on & on...) Plus, I have champagne tastes and a beer budget. Am I condemning myself to failure?

Number one, hate to say it but, maybe your parents aren't made for each other. Me and my man have been together for eight long years and yes we have lots of fights and yes we disagree alot but in the end we love each other to death. We finish off each others sentences, we laugh alot together, we are sexy with each other, we play fight, we have a child which indeed closes the deal. What I am trying to get at is that a relationship is alot to deal with but if you are right for each other then its all worth it. I love my man and couldn't be without him because we bug out all the time. He loves me for me. I was basically close to rich and spoiled him to death when we first met and now I am middle class and he still loves me. We go out and wehave a good time no matter where we go. Now you know thats love.

ohhh you are so sweet any girl would be crazy not to like you and i can understand you being scared i mean i am 16 years old and i am terrified to date right now but do not worry about your weight or anything girls should love you just the way you are the media also says that girls and guys should be skinny i mean i am 141lbs and it is all because of diabetes i have been uder weight every sense i was born and now i am actually healthy and my doctors told people to back off about my weight i used to be model when i was 98lbs but now they said i was to fat and the doctors told them to leave me the **** alone so best luck to you hon
