Calm down. Just as if the roles were reversed, take her at her word. She's apparently not interested in the same way that you are. It's a bummer but it happens...we can't force people to dig us or want to be with us. Back off, relax, and be friendly toward her...let her make any moves so it doesn't appear you're being pushy or stalking. You may end up with a wonderful friend...and those tend to last much longer than lovers.

Relax, lil pimpin. She is most likely not ready for anything serious. What were you expecting from her. Don't not ever TALK to her. She said she wants to be your friend. Don't hold that against her. Be her friend. Just be cool with her. How old are you anyway? 16 is a good age to date if you can't wait. Get those grades!!! Yes, it is summer, so chill and have fun.
