See John 15:1-8.
---From here, I hope you will see that by being close to Christ, we bear much fruit. We bear fruit through him.
---Some practical ways of bearing fruit are making sacrifices of our time and money for other people, doing good deeds, serving in our church, telling others about Jesus and answering people's questions about God on Yahoo Answers :)

By fertilizing our souls with the water of the word in order not to be easily plucked. Bad fruit often falls from trees with the slightest wind. Good fruit lasts until harvest. This makes the owner or the master of the crop very pleased.

Christians aren't supposed to be fruits, just branches. And when the branches dry up and fall off in the spring rain they become sticks in the mud.

Try to develop the fruiages of the spirit in our lives, there found at Galatians 5:22,23 - "On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control. Against such things there is no law"

We are the branches and we bring forth fruit according to the vine. The vine (Jesus) determines what kind of fruit that we are to bring forth.

Feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, healing the sick, etc. Just lead a good Christian example by being kind, that actually says a lot.

God will give you the opportunity to be a witness for him. Tell everyone you can about him. Time is short, we are in the end days.
