The real pity, is that women don't have it. they need it more than us men.
Shame that many pretty women, dont think they are, and why do women always have to ask if they look good, when they often know they are looking good.

Because we women have a way of making a man feel good about himself even if he is a troll.It's unfortunate that they don't take time to do the same for us,instead they have the nerve to require that we look like a porn starr forever,even after we give birth of their children.Maybe if we learn to set standards,they will be more likely to attempt pleasing us.

I like the "it's their mother's fault" answer - but more realistically, that's just part of it. Women who were spoiled by their fathers are the same way. We get the "what's on the inside matters more than what's on the outside" message growing up from our parents, but continually get the opposite message from Hollywood, the fashion magazines and hoity toity stores in the mall. But be careful when you say "every" or "doesn't" (subjective vs. objective observations).

that blanket statement isn't true and you know it. (there are exceptions to every rule!)

now, that being said, it's all about how we were brought up. i saw a comic that really showed how the genders think (included below) it's just how society made us think. a guy will see himself and feel good (most of the time) and if he sees a "hot" guy, usually the first thought that crosses our minds are "he's gay" and therefore removing him as a threat in our minds. this makes most guys think, "yes, i am sexy and all the ladies want me... how could they not want me?!"

My personal favorites are the jacka**'s in sports cars who pull up beside you and stare. So naturally when you look to see what the hell they're staring at they give you the "hey baby, I know you want me" look. Umm, no, just lookin at the booger hangin out of your big a** nose. Jerks.
