I think you are wrong, they should be sent back they are breaking the law. I also think your wrong about the jobs maybe your not living in the right place to see it yet... as far as wife and children go if they are illegal they should be sent back too as sad as that sounds. What are they teaching their children that breaking the law is OK? If they're married to a U.S. Citizen how are they still illegal? I can imagine all the people who came here legally are really mad that they had to do the paperwork and all the other stuff only to see law breakers openly excepted.
Also if they are here illegally what ID are they using? Most likely a fake one...Broken law number 2 and if they are hired to work that's broken law number 3.
But say we put all that aside... How many terrorists are we letting become citizens just because we think they are looking for a better life? In a perfect world this would not be an issue but it's not and we must be careful.

First off the correct saying is illegal alien.
Yes they should be sent back were ever they come from.
I would not be separated from my family because i have not done anything illegal, but if i did i would have to suffer the consequences, just look at all the people in jails for little misdemeanors ,and i bet you all they were trying to do is just have a better life for there family.
And about the jobs, you are wrong American's have an some still do the jobs illegals are doing. The employer is just not paying a living wage. You pay a good wage Americans will work.

It is sad that illegals are separated from their families. That was a risk they willingly took when they came here. Apparently many also left behind their families. That was a choice they made.
Accountability is a hard thing. The gamble of hoping not to get caught is just that, the roll of the dice. When you break the law, when you get caught, you pay the price.
Children of ALL criminals must pay the price for the decisions their parents make. They are also separated when that parent goes to prison. It's pretty cut and dried....they choose to break the law, they pay the penalty, the family loses.
Your last sentence is so feeble. It has become the chant of the illegals. It's just a lie. Actually, if we did the immigration thing right there would be people all over the world, the Philippines, India, Africa, who would gladly do anything to be here. They also would embrace our nation and be loyal to America, unlike the illegals we are burdened with now.

This country needs illegal immigration you ignorants you keep saying keep them out and want higher wages, what tha' fuc*? do you want to pay 2 bucks for a grape? 200 for cleaning your house? 90 for cleaning your beautiful yard? don't you know if wages rise products will do the same chances are if you work in an office or anywhere else you will not get a $20 per hour more in your paycheck , and believe me you will not want to do the jobs they do if so there are plenty of jobs where illegal immigrants have to work and they get a good salary ex: construction, restaurants, janitors etc. believe me nobody wants to work in construction in Phoenix so shut the fuc* up

Screw that jobs we won't do crap - if it wasn't for them working at such a low wage, those jobs would pay enough to Americans who can't afford to work at the wages these illegals do (paying taxes, remember?). And they should have thought about their wife and baby before they broke the law and came here illegally. And wouldn't their illegal wife and baby be going back on the return trip? My response - Adios!!

America doesn't get it.....
They naively believe the government is attempting to keep illegals out.
But the truth is corporations and politicians want them here. They help this country much more then they hurt it. And if you think this government is for the people and by the people, your beyond naive!
Try sucker.....Wake up and smell the Starbucks America, your 'public servants' are crying all the way to the bank....
the jokes on you, buddy...

I do not think illegal immigrants should be sent back UNLESS they have a criminal record...if they are caught breaking the law, they absolutely should be sent back immediately regardless of whether or not they have family here...and we should build the wall---make people come to this country legally, for those that are not here yet.

I say that it should depend on why they are here illegally. what family ties they have here, are they of good moral character, (this means no convictions or felonies), and are they a risk to the public, meaning are they suspected of or engaged in any terrorist activities?
Say you have one illegal immigrant from iraq, entered our country illegally or legally, has no family ties except the ones he made since he or she has been here illegally, like married with children, has criminal violations, I say send them and the family they created back to their own country.
Compared to an illegal immigrant from portugual, who has brothers and sisters here as permenant residents, friends and had prior work status papers that expired, has good moral character and no criminal violations and deportation would cause hardship to them and or family member legally here. Then i would say give them some type of temporary status to stay and maybe eventually decide to issue a green card or premenat residency.
Immigration laws are so complex and there are so many waivers and loop holes that refer to so many situations, i guess thats why we have them in the first place. Our detention facilities since the 9/11 incident has made the laws harsh on certain non-immigrants with visa violations. we are detaining individuals mandatory and waisting space in our detention centers to house minor immigration violators when we could be using it for detaining risk factor immigrants and immigrants that are suspected to be involved in terrorist acts. we can only hold one of these immigrants for 7 days without pressing charges, were we can hold an immigrant out of status for up to 90 days for violating visa waiver programs. the 9/11 detainee's were granted redetermination bond hearings for being suspected of terrorist acts and someone who overstayed a visa does not have rights to a bond and is in mandatory detention without any rights or hearing before an immigration judge and face mandatory removal and deportation.
we really need to look at our immigration laws!!

Punishment should fit the crime, the answer is YES...they should be deported. If they were so concerned about being separated from their family they should not have illegally entered America. i have not seen one occupation listed that an American would not do. If there were in fact jobs that Americans would not do how did they become occupations in America in the first place?
