I burned mp3's onto my DVD, but I can't find it? I'm pretty sure it burned right because I saw the files once when I went into Nero. I'm very confused, please help.

Ps I tried searching

If you mean to find the data on the DVD do this:

Put the DVD into the drive.

Click on Accessories/Windows Explorer

Click on My Computer (in Windows Explorer)

Click on your DVD Drive

Look to the right window to see the files on the DVD

You may not recognize the file names. Sometimes Nero puts new systems names on data on DVD's.

It looks to me like the files did not burn to the DVD. If they had you would be able to simply read the DVD in the PC used to burn the data originally.
So do the followong.
start nero and creat the template of the data you need to burn.
Place the blank DVD in your DVD burner.
set nero to test the disk and burner prior to burning. and then if no errors you need to set nero to verify the recorded data after burning.
it's also worth setting the disk to eject once burning is completed, this will help you by only ejecting the disk when burned and not before burning is finished.
what you need to remember is that when you create a disk to be burned your pc will write the files to a tempory storage folder on your computer, and only when you see the light on the front of your burner stop flashing is the burning complete.
searching is not going to help you if the files are still to be burned to disk.
good luck with the burning and i hope the info helps point you in the right direction. appologies if the terms i have used do not exactly match that in nero, but nero will have wording meaning what i've instructed you to do.

Open the DVD in Windows Explorer and look for the files there.

Best wishes and God bless.

Just open and explore your DVD from My Computer as you would with any other media.
If it shows empty then you did not burn anything onto it and you may want to try again.
