The first Solara convertible was available in the spring of 2000 (as a 2000 model), and has been available every year since then. I'm not sure from your question if you're asking/implying that the convertible version has been discontinued... it is still being made and verified for 2007.

Still sell them new.
Toyota has made them since 2000.
