I think the coolest parts of an Ak-47 is the part that it never jams, it has some wood furnishes, and it curves between the stock and the weapon it self, showing the fusion of wood and steel.

The AK-47 is arguably the best infantry weapon ever made. I first saw then when I was fighting in Vietnam. The were better than our M-16s. I did not like the fact that they were being used against us but I did appreciate the rifle. Of all the guns I now own, I like shooting the AK-47, I bought a few years ago the most.

The AK-47 is without a doubt the best mass produced infantry small arm in the world. It has a respectable caliber. It is impossible to jam and easy to maintain. Why the Soviets dropped it for an underpowered cartridge is a huge mystery to me. Kalashnikov stated that it was in order to keep up with the US move from the M 14 to the M 16 but it was a bad move.

Because the weapon was developed for motorized infantry, adopted for service with the Soviet Army in 1949 and designated the AK-47. It was not provided with a bayonet.
My fave weapon in GTA San Andreas.

Not sure that beautiful is the correct word for the assualt rifle which has been responsible for more civilian deaths in the world than any other single thing.
It is however a great weapon and at 30 dollars a time in certain parts of the world its cheaper than getting drunk.

Because it was designed to be used by monkeys. It is inaccurate, worthless in automatic mode, heavy and the bullet has less stopping power than the M16.
Idiots love it because it is too simple for them to break.

Well, I wouldn't call it beautiful. But it looks.....cool, I guess. And it works awesomely. I read about it in Field and Stream....it was engineered to be a little bit loose so that it wouldn't jam.

Because it can be dragged through sand, mud and crap, not be cleaned after a thousand rounds of ammo and still fire without misfires. Baddest design ever.
