I really like this guy like i think i love him but he says he cant fall in love with me but he likes me and he has a girlfriend. I am really good freinds with him and we hang out and stuff and when im alone with him he acts like he really wants me and wants to date me . Like in the way he talks to me and looks at me it just seems like it. so my question is why do guys act like this? He says i'm really cute and funny and a really good freind so why doesnt he want to date me? His gf is kind of a jerk to him cuz she works 3 jobs and barely has time for him....and he puts up with it! it makes me mad cuz i would always find time for him and i would never treat him like that. and i've tried just getting over him but hes like the perfect man so i cant. And my friends think we would be a good couple. So what do i do???????? Keep flirting and enjoy it or leave him flat on his ***???

WOW. Girl, first, you need to relax. Your friends are probably not who you want to be referring to at this point because they're too close to the situation and they will do nothing but make you feel even worse about this whole situation. It sounds like he's too busy to be thinking about his personal life right now. You're obviously swept up off your feet. My question is how old are you and him and the other chick? Try and understand the position he's in at this point by being in 3 jobs. I can imagine you have nothing but anger toward this other girl because you simply feel like you'd be better for him. Try and relax because if you're there for him, which, clearly, she isn't; then he'll ultimately choose you at the end of the day. Even if he doesn't, one day the tables will turn and you'll have the last laugh if he steps on your heart. Keep in mind, guys who have power, like this dude in particular, typically play games with other people who know care about them because they know they can. He knows that you care about him and the other girl will be there. He might really mean well, and then again, he might really be playing games with you. You can try expressing your feelings toward him about how you feel, but it IS his decision. Comparing yourself to her isn't gonna help you right now. You need to keep yourself as busy as possible. I understand the emotion of going home by yourself in a lonely bed at night, but thinking about that won't help you. Stick with your girls, maybe some distant friends/family might be something to seriously consider because your close friends might distract you with talking about this issue. It's tough, and you're obviously feeling very strongly about it, but remember, you can talk him into being with you and might be good enough for a live debate show lol, but he's the one who has the choice. If you have a kind and good heart and you're there for him, you will clearly stand out between you and her, including the crowd of other girls possibly in line. Try to be strong and getting caught up on the details (him putting up with her) right now won't help you. Stay strong, be patient, be there for him, and most of all, GET SOME CHOCOLATE! He has a girlfriend, leave it alone. If he puts of the crap from his girlfriend, that is his business. You see the problems because you want to have a relationship with him. His feelings for you is a friend and in time if things don't work out with him and his girlfriend, and he has serious feelings for you, he will let you know. Stop flirting with him, just enjoy his friendship. If you can't or if you don't change the way you feel about him, you will probably have regretful moments if it doesn't work out with the two of you. You really don't know why he stays with her and it could be he is not telling you everything that goes on between him and his girl. Get involved with some who does not have a girlfriend and the four of you can hang out together.

Be thankful that he's honest with you and tells you he has a boyfriend. It sounds to me like his girlfriend works 3 jobs maybe because she wants to get ahead and maybe he likes the fact that she's ambitious. It's probably true that he acts like he likes you when you're alone maybe because he does enjoy your company and maybe because he can tell you like him and he's just a typical guy who has trouble turning a willing female down. In any case it's natural your friends are going to tell you that you'd be a good couple because they're your friends. I'd say the best thing is to find a guy who isn't attached and in that case if he likes you he truly would be the perfect and eligible man for you.

Either he really likes you & just dont want to leave his girl. OR he's telling you these things while your alone to fill your head up & get something most men want. Find out be clear, dont beat around the bush.

his g/f working 3 jobs has nothing to do with mistreating him she is trying to make ends meet. If he had no feeling for her he wouldve been with you. It could be he may be using you as personal game or even a back up. he may not be the perfect man.

Some guys like to be dominated by women. Maybe if you were a little more aggressive he would dump the other one for you. Could be he is afraid to break up with the other girl because of hurting her feelings or because she controls him.

Um... I think that he does likes you and scare that his gf will get mad at him and he doesnt want that to happen. Try this, look if he likes you, then I think you should not talk to him for few days, but talk a little. And then I think he will be wondering what hapen to you. I think he will call you or try to have time to talk to you.

If you chase him, he will run... Stand back and let him come to you. Don't act too enthused around him and flirt a little with some other guy. That ought to bring him around if he is interested in you.
