I am a new golfer, loving the game. I am looking to join some sort of womens golf league or group. I live in Orange County California. Any info or insight would be great!

I understand that the Executive Women's Golf Association is popular on the West Coast. It is a group of women who play different courses in the area and plan their own tournaments. In Oklahoma, we have one called the Career Women's Golf Association is where a beginning golfer can join a league and feel comfortable learning the game. You can type in EWGA under Yahoo search and you will find a website to see if you have such an organization in your area. Good Luck! Watch out, you can get hooked!

Check with the proshop of the one of the courses that you like to play at. They should be able to put you in contact with someone. Or as funny as this sounds, most of the womens league stuff I have seen are in the women's restroom. :)

Good luck, I'm fairly and I love it too!

Call your local golf clubs and ask them if they have a woman's group. That's what I did.
