Your local vet would be able to give you a much better answer than anyone on Yahoo, they are familiar with the area and the local breeders.
Pecos is close to Mexico, be very careful if you are interested in any puppies out of Mexico. If there are ANY problems you cant get anything legal done to correct the problems.

Not sure where Pecos is. I know there are some bad breeds in the state. Some that charge thousands of dollars for dogs. Just be careful of who you buy from. Ask for a vet reference.
