Oil--long before Bush came into office Cheney and his cronies had plans to take over Iraq to secure the oil preserves for America. Only they thought the Iraqis would welcome them with flowers. Didn't happen did it?

Right on oil for his family! Man I am so glad that we got all that oil over there. I take baths in the stuff! And I am so glad that I have to spend $200.00 or something like that to put gas in my lawn mower. And it is all because of President Bush. I hate the fact that we put down a crazy dictator. I know Bush is a dictator to, but all those red states can't be wrong. Anyway I hate that Saddam or how ever you spell it won't be able to kill, rape and scare hundreds of thousands of his own people any more. No WMDs was a bummer. Does anyone know any good oil company stock?

I honestly dont care anymore how in the hell they got us into this war. I've tried to put two and two together and eventually gave up. I just want it to end and get all the troops back home, but we all know that will never happen. Its becoming a mess, I mean sure there are Iraqi people who are thankful for the US troops over there...But there needs to be planning, if we get out now and forget about it, years from now I know there wil be more attacks just like 9/11. I know you cant stop crimes and there will most likely be a WW3 one day, but just in case they need to be careful on what they do.
What this war needs a flippin miracle

War means money and lots of it, simple as that. If those billions of dollars were not being spent on the war in Iraq, then they might have to use it for something constructive like jobs, and housing and education and things like that. Then the weapons industry would not be so profitable......

I think it's because they wanted access to their oil reserves. The Al-Queda are all over the world. I have a video clip you might be interested in saying that the bombing of the world trade center was a "self inflicted wound" complete with interviews and photographs. If you're interested, email me.

Very likely it is geopolitical, to secure military bases and a supply of oil on the western flank of China to be used in the eventual war with them.

Practice for real action against China, when they make a play on Taiwan. Need to keep the reds at bay, you know.
