Make her a ham and potatoe cassarole dish.
Buy a small bonless ham, 2 to 3 fresh potatoes, and 2 bags of shredded chesse. Buy the cheese that has more than one kind in the bag such as Mexican style 4 cheese blends or mild cheddar with another cheese blend.
Peel and wash potatoes, slice pototoes (potato ship style, not too thin, not to thick, cut ham in bite size chunks, put in cassarole dish. Lightly season with salt because the ham does contain salt and add pepper to you liking. Use a covered dish. Use approximately 1 1/2 to 2 cups of milk. Mix 2 eggs, beaten, with milk and about 1/2 cup of melted butter, but, butter should not be hot. Pour milk and egg and butter mixture over ham and pototes, stir in shredded cheese and make sure mixture is well blended with the ham and potatoes. Bbake at about 350 degrees (approximately 1 hour) or until potatoes are soft and has been absorbed with the milk, egg and butter mixture. 45 minute after being in the over, remove the dish cover and sprinkle more cheese. Leave uncovered to allow the cheese on top has melted. You can add 2 chopped green onion or 1 red bell pepper
to the ham and pototoes prior to adding the milk, egg and butter mixture. Sort of like making macaroni and cheese.
Serve with warm garlic or french bread. Hope you like the recipe. Let me know how it turns out.

if a ham is what you want then go to the store and buy a cooks ham, bake in a pan for about 2 hrs on about 350 with some water in the bottom of the pan covered with foil. then you can either buy canned yams or fresh yams if fresh you will peel cut and boil till tender. if canned buy the bruces they are less stringy pour half the water off put in a pan with some butter and some brown sugar and some cinnomon, bring to a boil then add a little vanilla and then add on top marshmellows put in the oven till the marshmellows are golden brown. open a can of green beans but little pieces of bacon and some finely chopped onion boil 15 to 20 minutes. and some good buiscuits would go really good with that or some roll with butter and honey and a little cinnomom spread. there you go .......

Scallop potatoes are good with ham and a side of green beans, rolls and a nice salad.
Scallop potatoes,
Thinkly slice the potatoes, no need to peel, but wash them layer them in a butter baking dish with onion, butter, flour salt and pepper add enough milk to barely cover. Bake at 350 until thickened and slightly crispy on top.

season to taste
cream of mushroom soup - or 2 cups of milk
cover - bake at 350 for about an hour, or until the potatoes are done.

Here's the easy way to make dinner- Take baking potatoe(washed with the skin on) poke 5 holes in it. Then put it in a sandwich bag- zap in the microwave for 5 minutes. (test to see if soft) Meanwhile take your ham dice it very small-put in a small skillet with a dab of butter- throw in some green onions- mushrooms-stir on low fire til tender. take your baked potatoe out of the bag chop it up on a plate- sprinkle yopur ham mixture on top and sprinkle cheese on it. BAM DINNER- now just put a green salad and fruit bowl for dessert......ENJOY>

Easy. Cook up your ham. Bake it with brown sugar on it and pineapple rings held on with toothpicks.
Mashed potatoes. Boil up your potatoes, whip them up with some butter, milk, sour cream and pepper.
On the side, salad or corn with butter and pepper. Or both. Plus maybe make a batch of rolls from scratch, if you're feeling fiesty.
Nice home-cooked meal. Easy and tasty.
