Then he or she isn't the one you're looking for. Unless of course, he or she didn't mean that you're fat, because my friends always call each other fat but we never mean it. We just say it in a playful way.

You never stop liking this person just because he called you a name but it's not like you'll ever end up with him. He probably just said that because he wanted to be cool in front of his pals or whoever he was around. There is plenty of fish in the sea.
