Dating a lot of people does NOT make you an expert on anything. All dating a ton of people does, is give you experience and/or insight to what you want, what you don't want, and everything in between. Dating in itself will give you moreso of a guideline on what to look for in future relationships.
Quantity should never be mistaken for quality.
Every experience you encounter should open your eyes to different things, whether it be good, bad or indifferent.

Every relationship you have teaches you something about people. You don't have to date a lot of men to be an expert on relationships. I learned something from every man I've been involved with, some not so pleasant. From one man I learned that men will tell you they love you to attain their ultimate goal of getting in your pants, and once the conquest is over they get rude and don't call and there you are, thinking you had something special. Another one however, taught me that being a real man meant being tender and sharing thoughts and dreams. You can only be an expert of your own life and share what you know. Good luck. Nana

I think that dating alot of people makes you NOT an expert at all...I mean an expert would know how to stay in the relationship wouldnt they? I do beleive that you learn things about your self from each failed relationship... it gives you a sense of what to do (or not to do) next time...

it can and it cant at the same time. yeah you'll be better at starting relationships with people and you wont have all the anxiety that a lot of people have but at the same time it can make you kind of cold towards others because of the "been there done that" mindset that some people adopt about dating.

It trains you to know how to deal with the end of a realationship. That would not be a person I'd want to go into a marriage situation with!
