i know what it is and stuff (no duh!) but i can't ever get the courage and i don't really know what to do. also, if you're in 8th grade (last year of middle school) is it okay to flirt or be interested in high school guys?

Well flirting is a natural thing. For me, I get shy as well, but if they start picking on me, or trying to make jokes with me, and they make me laugh, well it becomes easier.=)
And when i was in the 8th grade, of course I was interested in high school boys. =) Not many are into middle school girls, but there are some that don't pay attention to grade level

honestly, being the type of person I am, I really couldn't answer the flirting thing, It's never been my strong point, I'll be a senior next year and its still not there for me, but from observations, flirting is anyway of indirectly showing that you like someone, wether it be giving little hints, gestures or words, such as a wink or a grin, or maybe a compliment. as for being interested in older guys, thats a serious issue, it really depends on how much older, liek i said, Im a senior and 17, Im dating a 14 year old, don't really base it on age but keep it within 3-4 years, any older is asking for severe trouble. Base it on maturity, if they're mature, and you get along well, go for it, but DONT let him pressure you into anything, keep a calm control, and if your not comfortable, then tell him. But seriously, and older guy Will try and pressure you into things, so don't let them, My girl sets the pace of where teh relationship goes, and thats the way it should to some extent, let him lead unless he breeches your comfort level. and when he does let him know, that your not ready for that whatever it be, wether a kiss or more. (hopefully you're not even thinking about sex at that age, you're too young lol)

totally! it's normal to be interested in older guys (those seniors might be a little hard to catch. ;-) )
Flirting? Small talk, laughing. Smiling is important. Stuff like that. Touch their arm or shoulder lightly. Just the littlest things turn some guys on.

of course it's o.k 2 b into high skewl dudes but that doesnt alwayz make it rite 4 u. and some ways 2 flurt is 2 bat ur eyelashes, sit on his lap,cuddle,blow kisses,wink...whatev u think possible. b creative. buy him a drink instead of the other way around.
