I'm really confused by it. lol,,helppppp;)

Most true "Southerners" only consider a state Southern if it was part of the Confederacy during the American Civil War. Since Oklahoma wasn't even a state at that time (Indian Territory) it cannot be considered in those terms. Most Oklahomans would consider themselves more Southern than not (certainly not Northern) but those outside the state consider it "Midwestern".

I consider Oklahoma as a Southern State in the Southwest United States.

Oklahoma has continually been a southern state, notwithstanding, it wasn't considered a southern state on the time of the civil conflict because it hadn't been further, notwithstanding the tribes did signal an alliance with the confederates

I lived there for 15 years and I'll tell you that they're about as Southern as it gets! They have more rednecks per capita than about any other state! LOL Oklahoma is cool, but I'd say Southern.

And, we DO have airports here, even.

I guess natives would consider who is asking. I know lots of my friends from there have Southern ways,so I think Southern,although it is located kinda midwest

Midwestern, western and southern. THey have a southern mentality there, but also a midwestern and western philosophy to. Safe to say there ain't a real big tofu influence, and most folks are in church on sunday.
