Jim & Marion Jordan created "Fibber McGee &
Molly", which ran for years and years...

Fred Allen was the most subversive of the old radio comics...

George Burns & Gracie Allen were the tops for 'unexpected' comedy...

Eve Arden was quick and fast as "Our Miss Brooks"...

Phil Harris & Alice Faye were my favorites (and still are...)

...and everybody liked Jack Benny.

Hard to isolate just one, but any of the English comedians in the 50's,60's and early 70's on radio were hilarious like: Spike Milligan, Sir Harry Secombe, Peter Sellers (they did The Goon Show up until 1972). Very witty and funny.
