I found £100 today whilst shopping with 4 friends, i am not a mean person, so i deciced to share it out, but, i still want as much of it as possible. So i put it to the vote out of the five of us. I will share out the money, as long as at least half of us vote for the split, but i tell them i want most of it!! how can i have as much of the money as possible, and still win the vote?

60 for u, 15 for two of them, and 5 for the other 2. or, u can really be mean to the last two and give them 1 each and keep 68 for urself, but i wouldn't go less than 15 for the other 2 since it's only a little less than the 20 they would get in a fair split, but if they are insistant on 20, then you can go 20 each for 2, either 1 or 5 for the other 2(i would go 5 to be nice, but to get the most stick with 1), then 58 or 50 for you

Well, you know, personally, I would not keep the money at all. Someone lost the money and I know it would be almost impossible to find out who lost it but I still would not be able to keep it without a guilty conscience. I would take it to the police station and give all the details. If it goes unclaimed after a certain period of time, you would get the money and have a clear conscience. If someone claims the money, you know in your heart that you did the right thing.

give two people £5, two people £25 and you keep £40. The two who get £25 will vote for this cos they will get more than they would if you split it evenly (£20 each) and you get to keep the £40.

pretty much what helen said but i'd split it that you have £30 which is still a larger share than everyone else, two get £25 (£5 higher than an equal split) and two get £10.

Surely they'd agree to any amount seeing as it's FREE!!?? If you said you'd give 'em 1p each they'd say yes 'cos it's either that or nowt! If they say no then you've got it all to yourself, even though the 3 people you would have liked to agree on splitting it say no! Simple as!

Tell them you'll give each of them a tenner because of your generosity. It's ten more than they had anyway. You keep £60. Or keep the whole thing and take everyone to dinner. I dunno. I guess perhaps I do not understand your logic in this question.
