How do you dispose of "chicken diapers? Why is chicken, at least where I live'', packaged with "chicken diapers"? Where is dressed chicken sold without "diapers" . I really dislike these "chicken diapers"! They smell up my garbage. I sometimes burn them in my wood stove, but I don't like doing that because if the plastic..and now it's too hot for the wood stove. What to other people do ...short of raising their own chickens??.

Well that pad is there for several reasons . keeps the meat from sliding to the end opt the package once it hits the bag. Soaks up blood and other liquids . the only proper way of keeping the odors out is to remove this packaging from your house as soon as possible. Or just quit buy meat . Get yourself some 1 qt. or 1 gal. zip-lock bags, with a pair of tongs pick up the little ditty and put it inside and zziipp......it up. Now toss it in the trash. No problem, no smell. Rinse the styrofoam tray out with hot water and keep it like most women do, with your pack-rat stuff.
