God is, he always is and always was, he was never born nor created. He just is. This is too hard of a concept for the human brain to understand but it is what the Bible explains it to be.

Hang on a sec...Jules?...YOU are the Faiery Tale...not God.
You have asked an extremely DEEP question....I will give you the answer, and if you cannot understand it, don't ask such a question.
In the beginning, that which IS is all there was, and there was nothing else. Yet All That Is could not know itself -- because All That Is is all there was, and there was nothing else. And so, All That Is..."was not". For in the abscnce of something else, All That Is, is "not".This is the great Is/Not Is to which mystics have referred from the beginning of time. Now All That Is knew it was all there was -- but this was not enough, for it could only know its utter magnificence "conceptually", not experientially. It wanted to experience Magnificent. All That Is could not know what it "felt" like to be magnificent unless "that which is not" showed up. In the absence of "that which is not", that which Is, "is not". And then there was GOD.
There, now....crystal clear?

To one who examines the evidence, there can be no doubt that God exists. Every building has a builder. Everything made has a maker. The fact of the existence of the Creator is axiomatic (self-evident). That’s why the Bible says, "The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God’" (Psalm 14:1). The professing atheist denies the common sense given to him by God, and defends his belief by thinking that the question "Who made God?" can’t be answered. This, he thinks, gives him license to deny the existence of God.
The question of who made God can be answered by simply looking at space and asking, "Does space have an end?" Obviously, it doesn’t. If there is a brick wall with "The End" written on it, the question arises, "What is behind the brick wall?" Strain the mind though it may, we have to believe (have faith) that space has no beginning and no end. The same applies with God. He has no beginning and no end. He is eternal.
The Bible also informs us that time is a dimension that God created, into which man was subjected. It even tells us that one day time will no longer exist. That will be called "eternity." God Himself dwells outside of the dimension He created (2 Timothy 1:9, Titus 1:2). He dwells in eternity and is not subject to time. God spoke history before it came into being. He can move through time as a man flips through a history book.
Because we live in the dimension of time, logic and reason demand that everything must have a beginning and an end. We can understand the concept of God’s eternal nature the same way we understand the concept of space having no beginning and end—by faith. We simply have to believe they are so, even though such thoughts put a strain on our distinctly insufficient cerebrums.

God is eternal, meaning that He is uncreated, and after all, God made time.
1) Everything that has a beginning is created.
2) The universe has a beginning.
3) Therefore, the universe is created.
1) Everything that has a beginning is created.
2) God does not have a beginning (He IS the beginning, He created time).
3) Therefore, God is uncreated.
God is the Creator, we are the creation. God is eternal, He exists outside of the boundaries of time, God does not need a cause - rather, the creation needs a cause.

actualy no he did not have to come from some where! he has always been. The reason that that is hard for humans to believe is cuz we are only human and we have a beginning and an end! But god is not human, he is imortal. So he does not have a beginning or an end! : )

If you believe what the bible teaches....God has always been....and always will be (Alpha and Omega thing). It's a concept nearly impossible for mortal humans to understand. One reason God I think allowed Jesus to be born to this world to give us a tangible reference of God with the Holy Trinity.

I'm not sure how God could have just always "been". I agree, He had to come from somewhere. I am Mormon, we do believe He was once as we are now = He went through trials, temptations, prooved Himself worthy to His Heavenly Father and got to create his own world, just as we who are worthy will be able to.
