1 6 oz box of jello
2 cups hot water
7/8 cup alcohol

you can use any kind of alcohol that sounds good to you. Here are some ideas:

green apple jello (if you can find it, it was discoed by Kraft.) and wild apple vodka

Gin and Lime Jello
Tequila and Lime or Lemon Jello
Light Rum and Berry (Strawberry especially)
Vodka works in any flavor (Blue Jello is cool, so is watermelon)
Use peach Jello and sub Hot OJ for water and use Vodka...YUM
Use Cranberry Jello, Hot Cranberry Juice. Get some dried cranberries and soak them in vodka over night. This turns the vodka a nice red and very flavorful. Then you use the vodka in the jello shot and you can put a few cranberries in the Jello Shot. Way Yum.

I personally like the little plastic jello shot cups better than the paper ones. Once you have used a toothpick a couple times you get the hang of it, it works like a charm.

Also you can use Jello or Cake molds to have some fun. I used ice cube trays to make a flag for 4th of July last year.

Drink Ingredients
1 cup Malibu Coconut Rum
1 cup Hot water
1 Jello (Watermelon)

Instruction
Mix hot water and jello. Add rum. Pour into 2 ounce cups. Serve after the jello has set.

3 packages of Jello containing sugar
2 1/2 cups vodka
3 1/3 cups water

Bring the water to a boil and remove from heat. Slowly stir in the Jello until dissolved. Wait 3 minutes, then stir in the vodka.

Try mixing different flavors of Jello to match different drinks. You don't always have to use vodka. For example, Apple Pucker goes great with green apple jello. Or try orange jello with Peach Schnapps and cranberry vodka for Sex on the Beach flavored jello shots. Tequila with lime jello for margarita jello shots. Cherry jello and Creme de Coco, chocolate covered cherries. Or whatever your favorite drink is.

When mixing the jello, use half the water and the rest alcohol. Or you can do a little more alcohol than water.
