My nephew was killed by a drunk driver at the age of 20. He was going to a Christian college and in some sort of ministry training, I believe. His grades were excellent. He was gentle and kindhearted. When they say only the good die young, they aren't kidding.
I know it's not easy for people to drink and not drive. When you go by a bar, you see a lot of cars, and the next day, they're all gone. You know they didn't all get rides with taxis, and I doubt there are many designated drivers. But I know it's not easy to drink and not drive. When a person drinks, they lose their inhibitions, which include 'everything'. So they think, hey, I'm good, I can make it. And most get lucky and do. But a few don't, and then sometimes people die. It's not a good thing. But I think it's a problem with a lot of people.

One of the most irresponsible decision, where not only do you put your self in danger but also in-danger others.. many times Innocent people .. as a consequence of that fatal or semi fatal accidents happen where you put even more people trough pain.. when the family members and friends have to deal with the loss of those they loved ....just because you taught or better jet didn't think before acting....
Good luck and if this is something you do PLEASE reconsider.. there is many many people killed due to irresponsible decisions such as this one... You have a family that will suffer if "god forbids" you have an accident due to your irresponsible behavior ... Imagine the Pain you can bring to the families and the innocent victims that can possibly be involved in a car accident due to a DRUNK DRIVING...
Appreciate your life ,,, or at least the life of other.....

It's selfish. When you get behind the wheel and you're drunk, you are endagnering the lives of others. Could be someone you love thats in the car with you, or some other random person you don't even know and just killed through vehicular manslaughter. T
The point is, most of the times it's the drunk driver that lives through the car crash (and gets to live with the consequences)

I lost my brother in 92 by a drunk driver hitting him. He was on his way home from church after coaching the kids basketball team, he didn't stay for service because his wife, which was 8 months pregnant, stayed home not feeling well with their 5 year old son. He was concerned about her...he didn't make it home.....
I think drunk drivers should have their license yanked on their 1st offense. The guy who killed my brother had 2 prior offenses, and claimed he wasn't driving on both, just like this one....which wasn't true..he was driving...witnesses saw.
You drink, You drive, You lose....I agree on that one!!!
It is like loading a gun and pointing it aimlessly at anyone and waiting to squeeze the trigger at any moment...
Drunk Driving Kills!!!

Drinking and driving is BAD! License should be revoked for a year, + mandatory treatment, and jail time for endangering others.
My ambulance had to take 2 children to the morgue once BECAUSE of a drunk driver.
:-(
Drinking and driving tears families apart every day.

Drunk driving is not cool. That's why you have friends that don't drink that can take everyone home after the party or spend the night at their house.Designated a driver.Be responsible the life you save may be your own as well as someone elses.

What Rolf said.
If we increase the penalty to execution upon conviction, perhaps it will stop. Because it really is endangerment of lives.
Anyone who has ever been drunk KNOWS they were in NO condition to drive. (Fairly spoken, I have done so myself.) I did not kill anyone, but I did run over a small tree and did some pretty major damage to my car.
I will never drink and drive again.
Nor should YOU!!!

I think it is one of the most irresponsible and horrid things a person can do. I have NO sympathy for anyone that does it. Period. A license should immediately be taken away for like 7 years. And if someone is caught driving without the license , jail. It is a serious thing, and a deadly thing. No sympathy. None.

Very against drunk driving it cost me my youngest son...unfortunately I only have him to fault he died in a single car crash...drunk driving accidents are NOT accidents they ARE
CRASHES!!!!!!!! An accident implies no fault of driver...farthest from the truth as any person can get
