I may very well not be here to see His coming, I wonder still. I imagine it to be beyond what fairy tales can ever describe. I think all the fairy tales put together can't come close to the description of what His coming will be like. I can imagine it to be both frightening and beautiful. That's my description. I want to continue more and more to live right as I should and not get comfortable in this world. "This world is not my home, I'm just passing through." This world is also passing, no doubt. I think the Lord Jesus' return is being delayed to this point because of His undying love for the world. He desires that no one perishes, but has everlasting life through Him dying for us.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus (Romans 3:23-24). His return in one word will be awesome!

Well actually, and please be open minded about this, I don't want to start anything I promise, but I believe in what is called Preterism, and that means that we believe his second coming, rapture, has already taken place. In AD70 to be exact when the Romans destroyed the Jewish temple. So now we are living in his new kingdom, but it isn't a physical place, its spiritual. It is written that man shall inherit the Earth forever, and that isn't a lie.
However, I imagine that what those people saw and felt was the most wonderful thing, it surpasses words. They were in a great state of misery with all the torture and horrible things, so I bet they were very very joyful. Who wouldn't be?

I've always thought that the believers would be taken up in the rapture...then the tribulation...then He comes back to claim all as his own again. I imagine it'll be a GLORIOUS day to hear ALL of creation bowing at Christ's feet praising his magnificant name. There'll be no melodious sound. I get shivers just thinking about it! I'm reading Ted Dekker's book, "Black," and whenever Tom, the main character comes into the presences of Elyon, the representation of God, he experiences immense pleasure beyond any earthly comparison. Hmmm.....

No. I don't plan to be here. I believe Christians will be taken before the seven years of tribulation. When He returns, triumphant over Satan and his demons, it will be glorious beyond anything the human mind can imagine! We will all be raised from the dead with perfect bodies and enjoy 1,000 years with Christ on earth. It takes my breath away just thinking about it.

It will be total chaos for those left behind. I have thought about it and I plan to be ready to go. I think it will be the most exciting event we as humans have ever experienced. I hope there is a Huge amount of people that get to go. Of course all the babies and small children will go.

The Bible tells us that the rapture will come in the twinkling of an eye. I believe that in an instant we will be transported into the presence of The Lord and all this pain, jealousy , stupidity, and all the other evil and hurtful things will be gone never to be even remembered.
