You should just ignor him don't drop what your doing and isolate yourself. Ignor him. If you can't concentrate just leave without saying a word. If you listen it will bother you and make you want to yell back. If you yell back he will be even more upset and that may lead to and awful fight. Just tune him out. I know my dad was a mean old man and blamed everything on me even though I was his little princess. I tune him out and go about my business.

My dad is the same way! I used to be so sensitive and cry every time he would yell at me for the stupidest crap! Now I just laugh and it doesn't affect me anymore. It took a few years, but I learned from my older sister. Let him blow off some steam and when he's done suggest some anger management classes.

You need to set yourself away from the madness. Act like it doesn't bother you by going for a thirty-minute to an hour walk. maybe you should just scream out and tell him what the problem is....or you can just talk to him when he's calm and work it out. . .hope it works

Slip some gingko in his coffee... Sorry I couldn't come up with anything serious, that's probably just how he is. My dad can be the same way sometimes. Tune him out and go somewhere without him for a while.

I would tell him that his temper is desturbing and if he can't control it, he will end up a lonly old man because no one likes to be around mean people.
