if you love them, y would you want to be just friends in the first place? if you really just want to be friends, you dont love them. you might LIKE them, but you may not love them. and yes. unless you get in a big fight and dont say sorry, then you will probobly be friends after you break up. some people i know have gotten divorced and still be friends!

Yes. It's all dependent on how much you LIKE each other.
My wife and I are friends, as well as lovers, spouses, and parents. That is, we just enjoy hanging out together, going places, doing similar things, and being nice to each other.
We had something of an advantage, in that we were both in a group of six or eight friends who hung out together in college, and we each were dating other people when the group would go do anything. So we actually got to realize that we LIKED each other before we started dating each other.
In any event, I've been in love with women I didn't like very much, and the older I get the more I believe that how much you LIKE somebody is a better predictor of how well you'll get along and how long your relationship will last than how much you LOVE somebody.
I am also supremely fortunate that I LIKE all my kids -- yes, of course I love, them, they're my kids, but I also like them. They're funny, interesting, engaging, even occasionally exasperating, but I enjoy spending time with them. In fact, their mom is about the only person with whom I enjoy spending time more than I do with them.

It depends, do u mean in a relationship or out of one? Both are possible. It's better that way anyway. It's possible to be ur bf/gf friend, and it's also possible to remain friends when ur ex's. it all depends on the two of u.

yes it is as long as you fon't cross the line...that usually means not being intimate for most people. Intimacy only deepens feelings and if you already love the person it will make it harder to remain just friends.
