If my computer is messed up bad and i install Windows XP will it fix it? If so how do I install Windows XP on my computer?

It depends on what is wrong with the computer. You would be best off doing a clean install which means formatting your hard drive and then installing XP. You should save whatever data you want first if you are able, and it would also be of aid to know what all you have installed in your computer.

Yes. If you boot to the XP CD and have the setup remove all your data on the drive, it should fix your problems.
Keep in mind you will lose all information on your computer including installed applications and games.
Make sure you update windows immediately after installing a fresh copy.

You'll have to format your HD (Hard Disk) then you can install Windows XP. If you format your HD once you install XP you will install a new fresh OS (Operation System) to do this you will need the Windows XP CD.

Go to your nearest BestBuy store and purchase Windows Xp Home Eddition and just install it.

You might have to format your machine to clean it up. Make sure you have ur original WinXP cd or the manufacturers backup disk before u do so.
Formatting is the last option!
