The first thing you notice usually is appearance. Then you actually have a conversation with that person. I saw this incredibly hot guy in a bar with and my friend brought him over to talk to me. Well he had the personality of a brick wall. He was very fit and looked like he had some game. My opinion changed as soon as he opened his mouth. Personality and appearance are both important. If you date a guy that isn't that cute and is over weight but has a good personality, that makes them more attractive. But then there's the appearance thing too. Hopefully you can get the whole package:)

Personality. I couldn't care less about physical appearance. If you plan to live with that person, it's completely irrelevant what they look like. If you're just friends it doesn't really matter either...so I suppose there's only a handful of situations where an attractive person would be preferable.

I can be with someone if they look good and just have an okay personality. I can't be with someone that just looks okay but has a great personality.
So, I guess that means that I prefer appearance.

Personality that I can click with. A person will always grow on me, so I'll learn to like his looks, but a good personality that clicks wth you is hard to come by. Why would u want to hang out with a jerk who's a total hottie? Wouldn't u rather hang out with an UGLY dude who makes u laugh, and think? I would.

I like both personally, personality over appearance but one without the other is disaster in the making.

Personality... a persons chartacter and demeanor are pretty much unchangable.. a persons appearance can improve or worsen... I would much rather know that the person that I was with was intelligent, ethical and caring compared to being just a handsome face.. Shalom.

Why do people always have to pick appearance or personality? Why can't we like someone for who they are and what's inside that person? Must we always judge others?

I beleive in first meeting a man they talking to him and I can almost feel if he's a good man by just he's personaitly I don't always look at appearance. I tend to look inside a person first.
