first you must take a written test the if you do well enough on that then they will send you to MEP's which is a physical test they will check you from stem to stern if you are healthy enough then you will be sent to boot camp there you will be treated as if you were not even human but it is a good thing becuase by the time you finish boot camp you will feel stronger than you ever have or will. stay the course and don't give up. you thank your self later in life. Some have you take a practice ASVAB in their office, but you need any important documentation, i.e. high school diploma, marriage license, birth certificate, social security card, driver's license, any identification cards you have. The recruiter may or may not work out with you to get you in shape for MEPS, or to weight if you are under/over weight. You will be weighed, and if you are overweight according to their list, you will be taped, to check your % body fat. At MEPS you will go through a lot of testing, i.e. drug test, vision test, hearing test, a series of tests to check your motor skills, a Breathalyzer test, pregnancy test if you are female, HIV test, and I am sure there are some that I am forgetting. You can call your local recruiting office to ask if there is anything more that you will go through.
