I think you are making a good decision to get married first and be more financially secure - don't worry too much about money, you can get clothes at outgrown shops or good will, from friends, from churches, etc. There are ways to have what you need for children and not have to spend tons of money. When I was pregnant, I asked for baby things for Christmas and my birthday so that I could get more items we needed. You would also get things at a baby shower. Anyway, to answer your question, I was 26 when I had my baby. I don't think that you are too old at 29 and even if you waited a little while yet. Many many women wait until their 30's to have a baby. You are many "baby making" years left! Good luck with whatever you decide!

I was 25 when my first child was born. I wanted a child so badly but I also wanted to be married first. I married and had my first child. 8 years later my marriage ended in divorce because I didn't put as much thought into picking a good husband/father as I did the thought of having a baby. I'm happy to say I'm pregnant with my second child and I'm so in love with husband number 2 and I know this will last and that's a great feeling. Just don't rush into things. Make sure your relationship is strong before adding another person into it

Yes it is! I was 27 with the first, 29 with the second and 35 with the bonus.
I STRONGLY advise you wait until both married and financially secure or well on your way. Otherwise baby will stress your relationship big time.
Get a puppy or kitten for now. It will help.

I was 19. I was mature for my age tho. Helped my mother raise my twin sisters who were born 2 days after I turned 11, so I had plenty of experience being a mom. I got married at 18 and had my firsy baby 12 months later. We didn't have much money and I had 4 stepkids to boot but we got by somehow. Babies do cost a lot tho. Make sure you have good insurance before you get pregnant and I would definitely get married first.

I was 38 and damn glad I waited.
Like you, I was wanting kids when I was younger. But being older, and more financially secure (is anyone really financially secure?), I have much more patience with my 10 month old, and I am savoring every moment of her youth. My husband and I can give her whatever, and are able to do things for her future like start up a college fund for her, and a savings account for her.
If you have the itch for a kid, do what I did - I borrowed someone elses for a weekend. If you aren't happy to see them go by Sunday afternoon, then you are ready for your own.

I was 19 years old miserable in my marriage and pretty much broke. I found out that instead of one baby there were two. Yes I had twin boys. I have four children altogether.I'm divorced from thier dad now. My twins are 19 years old now. To be honest with you being a mom is the greatest feeling in the world to me. Good Luck!
