Why 16 or seventeen? I think it's silly. You should start dating when you feel like you're ready for a serious relationship. It's not age dependent, but it's rather your what and how you feel about initiating such a relationship. Remember, it's not a game, not an experiment. It's not fair to experiment with people's feelings, but if you feel like you're ready for a relationship, go ahead. I'm 22, but I still don't feel mature and brave enough to initiate a romantic relationship. (plus I don't have the confidence to do that, but that's another story)

I think 16 to double date but the age to start 1 on 1 is 15 cause your parents are going to be on your case if you start to early
