Heat exhaustion can develop after exposure to high temperature and inadequate replacement of fluids. Unbalanced replacement of fluids can also lead to heat exhaustion. You should sip water throughout the day.
Also, you gain heat by burning fuel. In other words, if you normally walk around the block in the winter months, your body temperature will rise, but the cool air surrounding you will prevent heat exhaustion. In the summer months it will rise, but the air you breathe in will not cool your body because it will be hot air. The harder you exercise, the hotter you get.
Whew ! I think I need a glass of water. Good Luck !

One of the effects of exertion is the need to dissipate heat. That's why we have sweat glands. In the summer, that need is all the more acute. Therefore, the body reacts by weariness in an effort to prevent you from further exertion.

it happens to me as well. i always feel like i can go to bed when its hot out. i think it is because your body is using more energy to cool you down, since you cant add clothes like winter you have no choice but to use your body energy. Most people, like me, don't eat properly when its hot out either
p.s. to iloveacdc, the days are longer in the summer :)
