I have read a lot of questions trying to cite allegely scientific datas supporting some kind of belief and use it to disprove others. Have anyone found it to be relevant. I need christian opinions only but others are welcome if they want to. I hope your answers can enlighten me. Thank you for your effort.

Grazie,
Don't be sorry for me, I have a good life. The reason why I ask Christians only because I want answers from people whose belief I understand and not to intentionally disregard others.

iam a christian. i see that science and theories can help you understand whatever it is you want to know. But all that takes away from god and the bible is the works of the devil. Many things are unexplainable, but many atheists have given there life to god on their death bed, Many scientists love to make up things to get fame and stuff, but that is stuff you rarely hear about. Everything is based around psychology, atheists have big egos. they think they control there own lives and announce that god is pretend, but is god dont exist to them then why are they always so threatened

Someone already pointed out that faith is a requirement in any religion, which will always supersede science. The thing about science is that it should not be used as a tool to prove or disprove anything. All science is is an attempt to answer questions about our universe through tangible tests based on observations and theories. As such, science should be thought of as a supplement to religion to help clarify what religion doesn't expound on. The Bible is not comprehensive or exhaustive, but it is complete in that is contains everything that we NEED to know, though not everything that we WANT to know. If the Bible were to answer all of our questions it would be more complex and difficult than the 2006 Federal Income Tax laws! Science need not nullify Christianity because Christianity is not dependent on science for its justification.Christians can believe in the Big Bang theory because it does not conflict with the story of creation, for example. I hope that this will answer your question. It has been an issue that I have always studied myself and reading your question was truly a chance encounter as I have never been to this forum before... I believe I will come back again though.

Science and Christianity (or any religion) are set to prove or disprove different things. They're not meant to be antagonistic (a point of view which often leads to bitter blows) but rather complementary between the testable and verifiable physical world and the intangible and faithful spiritual realm. No measurement is going to prove or disprove God's existence if He doesn't want it to.
Though Godel's Incompleteness Theorem comes close . . .

What is the definition of science, or religion? Religion is already many steps down from true pragmatic knowledge attained by hearing the spirit of life; i.e., the Holy Spirit. And science is too broad a word or term. Some science is based in knowledge, but other sciences, such as the study of dinosaurs, is based in conjecture at best, and so is not to be trusted any more than religion.

I am a christian, not a traditional christian though it seems. I do not feel the need to go into an organized facility in order to praise the Lord. Also, I do not feel that science can prove or disprove the presence of God. What they try to do with religion is of no great consequence to me. My friend... either you believe in God or you do not. Science has no place in the dissemination of this quandary

Science can tell you how old an object is pretty accurately. How could you not believe in carbon dating? It is a proven way of calculating when an item was used, or came about. Just a little thought on this question, not being a christian, I didn't want to interfere too much.

To ask that only Christians answer your questions shows you only want the answer that pleases you. No controversy, just something safe to perpetuate your beliefs. That is sad, I can offer you so much proof and reliable theory to the contrary but obviously, like most Christians, your mind is closed to anything but what you WANT to believe. I actually feel a little sorry for you.

Yes of course science can be used to proving the source of all religions in this world because religion is man made and can be easily traced to their founders in history. Name any religion (Be careful not to include Christianity as a religion) and immediately you can see how it started, who originated it and how people accepted it and followed it. But what science cannot prove is how Christ was miraculously born, how he died and how He was risen from death and ascended to Heaven.

Science can't prove any religion or theory on the begining of the universe. However, it surprises me that people still believe in evolution. So much has been discovered since Drawin, that makes evolution almost impossible.

And your asking Christians, this question, what response do you expect believers in god would give you, "Yes science will disprove God", religion is worshipers of god not God and can be proven to be very effective in creating a social club
