Yeah washing it more often helps a lot. Try using a harsh shampoo a couple times a week too. Like purelle or go get a shampoo with tea tree oil in it. That will help to. The biggest thing is dont go a couple days with out shampooing it, that makes you produce more oil. Try to stay away from conditioners too. Just limit the use

i used to have really oily hair too. you can try washing your hair with aloe, or use Head&Shoulder shampoo. There's also a good shampoo from Avon which costs like $5.

i have the same problem i have to wash everyday. a gentle sampoo and try to go without conditioner everyday. might be some other helpful tips here
