I purchased salmon about 2 weeks ago and froze it. Is it still ok to use, and if so, should I defrost and then throw on grill, OR throw on grill without defrosting????

Absolutely yes...defrost first, or it will cook irregularly, more on the outside as the inside defrosts. Salmon cooks quickly. Grilled, ummmmm. If there's any left over, please enclose in a piece of foil and overnight it to me with a sampling of whatever else you plan for dinner.

Yes, it is still okay to use and yes, defrost it first.

If it's wrapped in plastic wrap or a zip-top plastic bag, put the whole thing, wrap and all, in a big pot, bowl or tupperware in the sink. Fill it up with cold water and make sure the whole piece of fish is submerged. Turn the faucet down low, so it's just barely running, and let it run on the fish, allowing the water to overflow down the drain. (if you're concerned about wasting water, plug up the sink and use it to water your plants) Depending on the size of the fish, it should defrost pretty quickly this way.

Another quick way is in the microwave, if you have a "defrost" setting, but keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't start to cook in there.

The slowest, but probably safest way, to defrost is to put it in the fridge and wait a couple of days.

Never, ever leave fish or meat on the counter to defrost.

1. Kingsford is fine. 2. No need to use oil really, do Not brush oil on the grill itself. But bush it on the food itself. 3. Do NOT use soap. Get a grill brush , get it hto and brush. But brushing afterr each use will make a Huge difference as well. 4. Thaw the steaks 1-2 days aheqad of time int he fridge. Most likely they will take longer to that than just over night. 5.YES you can do fish. How do you think fish wass cooked before stoves and such?

I grill frozen salmon all the time, wrapped in foil - turns out yummy everytime.
