What are your two biggest fears and why?

My two biggest fears are (please don't think i am too weird)
Red light (weird, right?) and heights.
I am scared of red light because my gram used to tell me that if I saw a red light that I would go to hell... and it makes people's faces look distorted...(you know, pointed teeth, pointed ears)
I am scared of heights because I get vertigo and feel like I will fall. and also at our band concert in 7th grade, I was wearing high-heels, and I nearly fell down the bleachers. Please tell me your 2 biggest fears and the reason for being scared.

Having a mental disability, the 2 biggest fears that come to mind are abandonment and incarceration.
1. Abandonment: My mom is the only person in my life and is 67. I am not capable of fully caring for myself.
2. Incarceration: Sometimes my outbursts have gotten so bad that the law has been involved. I am afraid that one day I will lose control again and be placed into a correctional facility.
3.Accompanying #1 would also be homelessness and institutionalization.

I am VERY SCARED and think about these things every day. Future-care planning and proper therapy are my 2 most serious issues.

I hope you manage well. My guess is that you probably fare better than me.

(1. Losing someone very close to me. Every time I even think of it, my heart literally feels like it hurts!! Does that make sense. I just dont know if I could go on. Having to do with that, juts like death in general creeps me out!

(2. It would have to be that Im gonna be alone forever, b/c Im too afraid to be in a relationship and get hurt, just like my parents. I dont want to deal with that my whole life like they have. But I dont want to waste an oppurtunity, just b/c Im scared!!

I pretty much think about it all the time!!

I like Tazzz's answer a lot. I fear totally losing my sanity and being institutionalized. I fear losing my family to an untimely death.

I fear insanity because it runs in my family. My mom is very mentally ill and I don't want to end up like her. I fear losing my family because they help me cope and give me a reason to get up every day. I'm not sure that would be the case if I lost them.

My 2 biggest fears are losing my loved ones, because i love them so much and flying, i have clustaphobia.

Bees and getting shot. Bees because i have continually been petrified of them and that i have been stung this kind of huge volume of cases. Getting shot because I stay contained in the hood and am usually searching over my shoulder as I walk everywhere.

im scared of goats because when i went to the fair they ate my rainbow shoelace so now i only have one, and tall skinny people because i was once followed by someone like that with a hood when i was walking home with my friends. we started running and so did we. it was scary

not dieing by my own hands. ie getting killed. abusive relationships make you think your gonna get killed and its my biggest fear i have thought of suicide before heck even tried it a few times i wanna die my way i don't wanna be killed. that is my biggest fear.

other biggest fear..... the unknown. i question everything fear just about everything. to an extent.

my weirdest fear is going over wet streets ...
(because of my aunt's talking about washing water spilled over the streets having diseases .... now I still can't go over something wet until I don't know for sure it's rain water and it's everywhere.. so no escape... but it creeps me out every time...)
