Christianism is not helpful unless you become a christian. That's the whole point behind their Bible quotes, really, to get more converts and feel better about themselves without doing anything really useful.

lol it's because Christians find happiness in Jesus. However I understand that that is not a right way to go about it one should give examples to help the person and if it comes up then sure say that too .

Since depression can have a base in a chemical imbalance, just saying a prayer isn't always going to help. My theory is "God helps those who help themselves." To help yourself, you can see a doctor for medication or a psychiatrist for counseling or whatever else it takes to make things better.
Religion can be a comfort to those who believe, but you are right that people sometimes think it is the only answer.

The best answer in my opinion is for them to pray that God would save them from their sins. Which is the same as finding Jesus, because without Jesus Christ and His Precious Blood sacrifice for our sins: Salvation, healing, comfort, and all of the fruits of the Holy Spirit are not available to us.

adverse to... yet how'd you get yours no longer to have a question mark? EDIT: I purely wasted 5 factors attempting to decide the way you probably did that, nicely what you do is in case you position way too many characters on your question Y!A gained't positioned the question mark... it really is undesirable because we gained't make our questions very lengthy as P&S purchasers have very short interest spans... xD anyhow, i might want to like it very a lot in case you gave me perfect answer so as that i might want to get my 5 factors back, and an advantage 5 for finding out a answer to the mission.... xD

People with faith in their religion don't understand people who don't have that faith. They think it's the answer to everything, but it's only their answer to everything.

Do you think you're really depressed, or is something just bumming you out right now? If it goes on long enough and bad enough to mess up your job and relationships, then it's time to seek counselling for help.

This has helped the people that write that answer, I usually right a detail answer on what they can do to deal with their problems. But that is me and that is what I would want if I had those issues.

Actually, they are helpful. I was super depressed before I got right with God. The only way to have true happiness and joy and peace is to be a born-again Christian.

Alrighty then... Well, don't you think it's about time to even things out by finding another million people to say something that you'd much rather say? I dunno... maybe something like "Find Ace Ventura" perhaps? Would that be helpful for you, hmm? LOL.

I say that in jest , of course, but hey... there's an old Confucian saying that goes: "You may pick your friends; and you may pick your nose... But DON'T EVER pick your friend's nose!" Hahaha!

Peace be with you!
