I think that he loves you a lot! Its very sweet. Can't tell if he trusts you or not. Either he doesn't trust you at all so that's his only hope or he believes that you won't cheat on him. I wouldn't go around cheating on him though, just to because you know he will take you back. Don't get your hopes up. He could have said that because he knows he wants you to do the same for him.

Having had a similar experience, this may be his way of expressing how much he cares for you. Appreciate his honesty, and don't cheat on him. He probably figures if he's honest with you about this, then he can trust you and you aren't going to cheat anyway. (That's what my ex said :) to me once, it left me confused until I asked him about it and that was his explanation) Just be happy that he cares about you :)

i don't think so, trust me if you cheat he is out of there, no one wants to be with someone that will constantly cheat on them, that means you don't respect them enough. so whatever he is saying right now is BS, if you cheat he is gonna be gone b4 u can say im sorry or remind him of this, my guess is he just said that as a joke.

I think he is trying to say what he thinks you want to hear. I can't see any guy just blowing a gf cheating off and going on.

I think he made a mistake by telling you that because now if you do cheat you would have nothing to loose, which is good for you but bad for him.

He has something in his past (or may be even in present) which makes him fear that if you come to know that he is/was cheating, you might leave.
So he is preparing the grounds to be accomodate so that he can ask same thing from you.

he must really care for you or he wants you to keep him as his boyfriend if he cheated on you. I could not forgive my boyfriend if he ever cheated on me.

If you don't cheat on him it won't be a problem, he may forgive you and he may not, but you will not know for sure if it does not happen. In which case you will more than likely be better off.
