digital camera produced by conventinal camera manufacturers (e.g. Nikon, Pentax) or by electronic eqipment based manufacturers (e.g. Sony, Panasonic) ?

I would buy a camera from a company who only makes digital cameras because you know it's gonna be good then because they rely on the sale of those cameras to keep their business going, unlike sony who sells lots of other stuff.

I have a Nikon d50 digital camera. It's considered an entry level SLR but I love it! It's got lots of features and takes terrific pictures. I'd recommend this camera to anyone looking for a good digital camera. :-)
