AS the others have said, checked baggae domestically is 2 bags at 50lb each. Carry ons are limited to 40lb. While we dont weigh every bag, if something appears heavy we can require it to be weighed.

Since Mexico is considered International, some airlines still allow 70lb, but you have to check with whatever airline you will be flying on. Go to their website and look up Baggage. Most US airlines have now decreased their weight limit to 50lb each for International travel as well, again check with the airlines website you will be travelling on.

According to Delta, the suitcase that you check should not weigh more than 50 pounds or else you will have take something out and carry it or you will get charged for the extra weight.

For the standard, stored luggage cannot exceed 100 pounds unless you pay additional fare. On-board is 50 pounds or less, no exceptions.
