I called a girl on Thursday asking for a date, but she said "no" because her coach wanted her to stay out of the sun. She invited me to her swim meet which was the next day, but I declined the invitation. I told her to call me back, and I gave her my phone # but I noticed she was hesitant when I told her to call me back and I bet never even took down my phone #. She knows my #, but she has not called me since. I have called a couple times after Thursday, but she is never home. Can somebody tell me what to do? I am tired of calling, and I am just waiting for her to call me back.

Dude you should have gone to her swim meet, when you declined the invite you showed no interest in her. SHe may have already moved on.Find out when her next meet, or public performance is for any extra-cirricular activity she is in and show up. Show her you are interested in what interests her.

She cares about her swimming and you should respect that. She was told to stay out of the sun so that she would not be tired for her meet. You should have come up with something to do with her that would have kept her out of the sun and you should have shown an interest in her swimming by going to the meet. Call her and tell her this and let her know you care about her and want to be with her. She sees that you care about her swimming she is more likely to want to be with you. Good luck!!

Maybe, she doesn't like you that way and is trying to tell you in a nice way. Or she really likes you but wants to take it slow. Maybe she was hurt in a past relationship before. You should sit down and talk to her, and ask her how she feel. Make sure when she's talking to you she looks you in the eyes. Some people that don't want to could be lying to you. Well good luck.

What happened was that you blew it big time. When she asked you to go to her swim meet you should have gone. She obviously wanted you to go which was a good sign, but when you said no, you probably upset her. Sorry but it's time to move on because that ship has left.

Try to see her in person, that gets rid of the waiting by the phone thing. Go somewhere where she'll be. At least then she'll know you're really interested.
