Why is your mother dressing you at 39? No, I do not suggest that you slap your mother, it is disrespectful. Have you 2 been fighting? I would say that you both need to sit down and talk to one another. It sounds like she was angry with you and wanted to hurt you in some way, and she knew that by attacking your vanity was a way to achieve her deed. Talk to your mom, don't attack her physically, it could land you in jail. And I don't know about you but I would think that that attire would be even worse than what you're wearing now.

First slapping someone is bad manners,secondly-- she probably was waiting to see if you noticed yourself in the 39 years (she must be a very patient person) .

If we are going by your picture shes right. I say accept what she has said and take the opportunity to make a change in your life. You can go to any makeup counter and get a free makeover and get your hair cut from a salon NOT Clippycuts or any other chain place. Then maybe ask some for some help next time you go shopping for clothes. (DONT ASK ANY ONE THAT DOES NOT DRESS NICE THEM SELVES!) Good luck ugly looking funny dresser! :o)

Honor thy father and mother. IN fact, have a celebration dinner in her honor, invite all her friends, and take the podium . Thank her profusely, let it be known that you have learn all you know by imitation (the best form of flattery) and following her every action. Then, in front of the crowd, strip and ask the nearest male to come do you....That should get her back!

Why would you want to slap your Mother?
Why not just thank her, tell her that you love her and then acknowledge to her that you look like you do because you are her daughter.

You have reminded me of something my mom used to say to me
at about your age too.
She told me more than once, that I was ugly as I used to be beautiful. Understanding her words makes me very happy, as I know exactly what she meant.
