For some reason when I'm driving and someone cuts me off or something I like to yell at them in Italian and give the chin flick. It just seems appropriate somehow. But the only Italian curse words I know are 'cornutto', which doesn't seem to fit since it only applies to men and from what I understand is the kind of thing that will get you killed if said to the wrong person, and 'bastardo' and 'idiota' which just seem obvious. Can anyone tell me some good Italian expressions that would fit that situation, along with a rough translation?

Ok... these are a couple:

"Stronzo" (or Stronza for a woman) is the most common italian curse. It basically means "turd" and is used like "a**hole" in english.
(Pronounced something like Stroh-nzoh).

"Vaffanculo" would be #2 , it means "go to hell" in a less polite way. (pronounced like Vah-fah-nkuloh)

These two are understood and common in every part of the boot as well in the two major islands

Just in case you really ever want to be really vulgar.
