I am helping my mom with a workout regimen. She is 60 plus and in very good shape (she has been exercising her whole life) She would like to tone her stomach, butt, thighs, and underarm flabbys. Does anybody have some good exercise suggestions and also what should be her limit as far as working out is concerned. She is basically strength training, so I would like to know how much down time she should have in between workouts as well. Thanks for the help.

Wow! Go Mom! Good for her! I think that is so great that you're helping her with this. You say she is in good shape, go to "body for life workout routine" and you will find these body parts for her. It's much easier to send you there, than to try to explain all of them here, they have pics there too.
Two different ways I would set the workout up for your Mom, so that she will get the full benefit for full body: Mon, Wed, Fri upper body-Tues. Thurs. lower body. Upper body-chest,back,biceps,triceps,shoulders. Lower body-quads,hamstrings,inner,outer thighs, buns.
I would start your Mom out with 2 sets of everything, having her use weights that are challenging, coach her with her breathing so she doesn't hold her breath. If she works the muscle groups this way, she won't need to skip any days Monday thru Friday and she can have the weekend off. Have her warm up for about 5-10 minutes beforehand so she doesn't pull or hurt muscles that are not ready for the load. Hope this helps, and is understandable....
Has your Mom ever taken Yoga or Pilates? I'll bet she would enjoy this too, these can be found online. I teach these, and ladies her age are loving it.

My grandfather loves water aerobics. Your local gym should have classes.
