Damn! Left out again! Not a C or an A. Why do these 2 groups fight all the time? It is getting boring. Old. Sick of it.

Atheists are not necessarily bad people who only live in the darkness. As a Christian I see atheists as people who do not want to be with Jesus in the eternity. Good news: As the gift of eternal life with God is offered to everybody, you can decline and spent the eternity with Satan...but be aware, Satan is evil..he KNOWS who is God, and he will put all kind of thoughts into your mind to make you to not to chose Jesus. You do not actually do not have to be a bad person to miss Our Father's House...you just need to be ignorant to the truth and refuse the right way, and
decline eternal life with Jesus.

Personally, I think you a pretty bad considering the stuff you write.Repent. Come to the church to worship Jesus has a different kind of meaning for your life. Church is the hospital for sinners...full of Christians....worship is not about us...it is for GOD

Jesus is the way and the truth and the life, and nobody will go to the heaven other way than through Him.

(Hi Mark, are you sure it's safe?)

I believe Atheists are people who have not taken God up on His plan of salvation. That doesn't mean that they are bad like most folks think of bad. We're all sinful. (Romans 3:13) Atheists, from a Christian perspective, remain in their sins. That's bad for them.

Does that mean that any Christian is necessarily more moral than any atheist? No. C. S. Lewis was an atheist for a time. Even while he was an atheist, he was not evil. Turns out he had a heart for God, but had some serious pain to overcome. He's my favorite author.

There are some who are Christians who turn and do horrible things either in His name or under the cover of it. I offer no justification for that. Certainly forgiveness is available in Christ, but grace and forgiveness are not license to sin. (Romans 6:1-4)

As for darkness - I don't think you live in caves, but in a sense, yes. Jesus is the light. (John 1:4-5) Not walking in Him would be walking in darkness.

From my heart, I wish everyone would walk in Him.

I don't think atheists are bad people. I'm not sure I know any atheists (agnostics, sure), but I think they are human, and have been hurt by religion/religious people in the past, don't like the idea of seeming intolerant by following a particular religion, or, in some cases, are really arrogant to think that we are all there is.

I don't think atheists are better or worse than anyone else. We are all sinners.

They aren't necessarily bad people, but according to their faith, they are just different than you. They believe in God and think everyone should. It is your own choice whether you believe in God or not, whether you do or don't doens't say you are good or bad. I am sure there are some Atheists who are better people than some Christians and of course the other way around. Do I believe everyone needs God in their life? Yes. Am I going to hate someone or think they are bad people if they believe in God? No. That is what we are here for, to have the ability to choose for ourselves. Do I believe we will be judged and receive rewards/punishment for our choices? Yes, absolutely. But you don't have to.

No, Atheists are people who know what they believe, and I am a person who knows what I believe. Diversity can be great if we all can accept our differences.

A-theist are only sinners yet to be saved by God's grace - doesn't make you good or bad. Hope it boosted your ego that it was just you and me having this great little conversation. Until we come to accept Jesus Christ as our personal savior, we are all a-theist.
