It means that even the most horrible place imaginable is nothing in God sight. He is the creator of all and can see into all places, the entirety Creation is open before him. There is no Greater and God has no fear of any of it.

Nothing is hidden before God.

The hebrew word for hell would have to be known. Hell means a few things in a few different places. Not necessarily a fiery underworld for nasty people.

God cannot look on Sin, this is the reason Jesus went into Hell to retreve the lost souls that had no other Salvation.

My version says Death is naked before God. I think it means everything will be exposed by God.

Hell - Is in His presence, and under His providence. Hell itself, that place of utter darkness, is not hidden from His sight.
