My ex wont stop calling me or emailing me. He wants to what I think about him. Even though I talked to him about this whole thing earlier and said "friends" was the right word for our current relationship he's still really persistent. He's on the phone with me now and I need help telling him how I feel.

Tell him that he isn't fitting the part that you disire right now. Be like " Baby i care bout you but i rather be friends and try to clear my head for a couple of weeks". Then in a couple of weeks (Like 2 or 3) tell him exactly how you feel no matter how it will efecct him cause if you still don't want to be with him in 2 week then there is nothing to do but show tough love.

He needs help moving on, because obviously you have. At some point you may have to say, "Listen, I would like to be friends, but if you keep bugging me, I won't feel very friendly." Have someone screen your calls for a while. Or put your phone on the message mode. Good luck.

Then tell him, even the "friends "part is off! Friends do not harass friends. Tell him in no uncertain terms to lose your number, and if he calls you again, you will have him arrested for harassment.If he still does it, have him arrested....enough is ENOUGH! best of Luck to you!

He can't take the hint.
Try saying that if he doesn't understand the limits of being a friend only, you won't even be able to do that.

You said "friends" , then he has to accept "friends". Everybody knows that it means the exciting possiblities are just plain over though. Very sad.

You may have to be more strict. Tell him you don't want to talk to him and to stop calling you. Obviously you don't know how to say no, so tell him no flat out.

just kepp telling him friends, and if he doesnt take the hint, tell him ya found someone else and you are in love with them
